Mr. R.P. Agarwal, father of present MD, Mr. Manoj Agarwal started the business venture of the group under the banner, Mittal Polypacks Pvt Limited with the prime intention of catering to the small bag segment.
Envisaging the over-burgeoning demand of jumbo bags in the international market, Mr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal formed Mittal Technopack Pvt Ltd. During last 22 years it has grown bigger as a result of its own efforts to become a leading manufacturer and international supplier of variety jumbo bags, woven sacks, woven fabrics, sack liners and container liners. Most of its production is exported to Europe, UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Israel, and Africa. Within a few years from inception, Mittal Technopack successfully became 100% Export Oriented unit and also received Star Export House award from Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. Since 2016, MTPL has been accredited with Two Star Export House by Govt. of India. Currently, group production capacity is 1500 MT / month of which morethan 75% is exported to almost 42 countries round the globe.
Our production facilities are certified with BRCGS (AA), ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2005, Halal, KOSHER, FSSC22000. To ensure quality and global benchmark we implemented standards since its inception.
Our manufacturing facilities are Located 25 kms from Kolkata and spread over an area of 200000 sqm and our Food grade facility is 20 km from Kolkata port. Both the units have a unique locational advantage as both are located on the Kolkata-Delhi Golden Quadrangle Highway and is only 20-25 kms & 100 kms from Kolkata & Haldia Sea Ports respectively.
